GSE Advanced Tactical Handgun Course I
Course Length: 2 Days (Includes Range) Course Cost: $250
Prerequisite: GSE Basic Handgun Course or Equivalent.
Course Description: The purpose of the Advanced Tactical Handgun course is to teach advanced handgun manipulation skills and tactics that will enable the shooter to more effective employ his/her firearm, in practical competitions or actual tactical environment.
The focus of this course is the advanced development of general handgun shooting skills such as speed shooting, the draw, reloads, shooting while moving.
Topics Covered: Review of Fundamentals, Correction of Grip, Stance & Trigger Issues, Teaching the (3) Types of Reload, Driving the Gun (Target to Target), Sight & Recoil Management in Rapid Fire, Movement from Position to Position, Shooting on the Move, One Handed Unsupported Shooting, Review of the 5 Point Draw, Review of Cover & Concealment, and Review of the Tueller Drill (21 feet).
GSE Advanced Tactical Handgun Course II
Course Length: 2 Days (Includes Range) Course Cost: $300
Prerequisite: GSE Advanced Tactical Handgun I or Equivalent.
Course Description: This course is designed to develop skills for the student who uses his weapon in a tactical environment. The course will start with developing fundamental shooting skills. You will soon advance to skills that will reduce your reaction time, allow you to shoot faster with higher degree of accuracy, and increase your confidence with your handgun.
Topics Covered: Safety, Conditions of Readiness, Gear Placement, Fundamentals of Shooting, Proper Ready Positions, Malfunctions, Multiple Targets, Proper Use of Barricades, Proper Use of Cover & Concealment, Tueller Drill (21 foot rule), Shooting on the Move, Unusual Shooting Positions, Off Hand Shooting and Low Light Shooting.
GSE Close Quarters Combat (CQC) Course
Course Length: 4 Days Course Cost: $1,000
Prerequisite: The (CQC) course is designed for personnel that have previous hostile environment training or operations experience, the course is designed for enhancing, weapons training, advanced firearms, individual and small team tactics.
Course Description: The (Close Quarter Combat) Course is the next level of training, designed for giving an in-depth operational knowledge of HRT and CQB tactics/ techniques, from force on force, to live fire, individual and with small teams. The course is going to be at quite a fast pace, there will be some physical fitness on the course based on the techniques, which is relevant.
Topics Covered: Dry Fire Techniques, Static Live Fire, Movement Live Fire, Single Level Buildings, Multi-Level Buildings, Stairwells & Ladders, Multi-Level Complex, Firing Positions, Magazine Changes, Transitions (Rifle and Pistol), Simunition Exercises (Force on Force) and Tactical Rappelling (30ft, 60ft, from Widows and Through Windows).
